New File

User attaches file to the Notes system as

Access File

Users use buttons to access attachment
stored in the Notes system. It prevents users to access attachment
directly.
When user click "Read" button, the system will download the file to
"Protected Directory" in user's workstation and launch the file automatically.

Read File
(but cannot Save As, Send To, Print)

User can do anything to the file.
However, if the user is not authorized to save as, print, or send the file to
external sources, related functions are controlled. |
Edit File

For editors, they can click "Edit" button
to edit files. |
Save Changes
(but cannot Save As, Send To, Print)

User can use all features provided by the
native application (i.e. MS Word, Excel, etc). The user can Save the
changes (although he/she is not allowed to Save As). |
Auto Re-attach
